Ladysmith Skate Park

In the 2010-2011 LVI Program, Team ‘Board Members’ partnered with the Town of Ladysmith and the carpentry students of Ladysmith Secondary School to upgrade the Ladysmith Skate Park by building an amphitheatre-style seating area, add benches, install a new irrigation system, clean up the surrounding grass area, and install new skateboard apparatus.
Today, the park remains an important part of the Ladysmith youth community and is a popular source of fun for nearby high-schoolers at Ladysmith Secondary School.
